The Answer to But.. (Poem)

12/21/2019

It starts with one thing
It ends with another

You believe it will turn out a certain way
And it doesn’t

Flying high
Flying low
Falling down and feeling heavy
Back up again

Bitter sweet is a saying for a reason

Why is there always a “but” to life?

I love her, but..
I like my job, but..
I had a great time, but..

I really can’t believe I have to do this, but..

I want to stop eating sugar, but..
I feel like shit when I eat bad, but..
I am proud of myself, but..

I’m an ok Mom, but..

I feel like I’m not living my calling, but..
I know there is a God, but..
I wish I could be more loving, but..
What
the
But...

 It’s all about hope.
